For Parents
The parent portal gives you one place to set up your child, guide what they do, and follow their learning. It's designed so a parent can stay involved without standing over a child's shoulder.
Setting up
- Create a parent account (see Create an account).
- Open the parent dashboard.
- Add a child or link an existing child account.
- Choose age-appropriate settings and controls.
What parents can do
| Capability | What it means |
|---|---|
| Link children | Connect one or more child accounts to your parent account. |
| Set controls | Configure age-appropriate settings for each child. |
| Follow progress | See activities completed, scores, streaks, and badges. |
| Stay informed | Use the dashboard as a single window into your child's learning. |
A typical week
- On Monday you link your two children and pick their age bands.
- Through the week each child completes activities; you check the dashboard for their progress.
- On the weekend you suggest a learning path for a skill they're working on.
Privacy
LearnQuest AI is built for children, so privacy matters. The parent portal is part of how the app keeps adults in control of a child's experience. Read Privacy & child safety for details on data handling, permissions, and account deletion.
