Is LearnQuest AI free?
Yes. LearnQuest AI is free to use with no paid tiers and no subscriptions. The learning tools run on your device or use free, no-key public APIs, so there are no usage fees.
What ages is it for?
LearnQuest AI is designed for children ages 1–15. Activities are tagged by age band so you can match content to the right level.
What platforms does it run on?
It runs as a web app (an installable Progressive Web App) and on Android via Google Play. The same features are available on both.
Does it work offline?
Many activities and tools work offline, and your progress syncs when you reconnect. See Offline, languages & themes.
Does the app really use AI?
"AI" is part of the brand name. The tools work using on-device logic and free public APIs (such as Open-Meteo for weather, MyMemory for translation, and Datamuse for rhymes) plus the browser's built-in speech. There is no paid large-language-model service behind them — which is part of why the app is free. See the note in the introduction.
What does "777 activities" mean?
That figure reflects activities created by a procedural generator from reusable templates — the engine combines variables to produce many age-appropriate variations. It is not 777 separate hand-built screens. See Activities.
Do I need an account?
You can explore without signing in, but a free account saves your scores, badges, streaks, and preferences across devices.
How do parents get involved?
Parents create a parent account, link a child, set controls, and follow progress from the parent portal.
Can teachers use it in class?
Yes. Teachers can create classes, assign activities, and review student progress from the teacher dashboard.
How is my data handled, and can I delete my account?
The app stores accounts and progress to sync across devices, keeps preferences on the device, and offers account deletion from the profile and legal pages. See Privacy & child safety and the in-app Privacy Policy.
